On Sunday 8th April there was a beach litter cleaning event along Hill Head beach as part of the Surfers Against Sewage campaign against plastic waste. Lisa Vincent who used to live in Stubbington arranged the event with support from many local organisations including Seafarers Sailing club, the local Coastguard, just to name a few.  Over a hundred people turned up and collected a huge amount of waste.
