Climate - it's down to all of us

Salterns Road continues to have a 60mph speed limit , even though it is narrow with many blind bends. The road was recently closed for a day because of the number of accidents caused by fast driving in bad weather.
Children and walkers going from Seafield Park to the beach have to cross it. Many cyclists use it because land ownership issues prevent the completion of the cycleway alongside the promenade.
And it’s a rat run, used by more and more drivers trying to avoid hold-ups between Gosport and the A27. Alex suggests a 30mph limit – or speed humps – to make it safer while still giving residents access.
